JavaScript Debug Window

Download and Installation

1. Download Java 8 x64 and install it:

Open a Terminal and enter:
sudo apt update
sudo apt install openjdk-8-jdk openjdk-8-jre
sudo update-alternatives --config java
-- or --
sudo apt update; sudo apt install openjdk-8-jdk openjdk-8-jre; sudo update-alternatives --config java
and enter the number of your Java 8 installation.

To check, if everything is set up correctly, enter in terminal:
java -version; whereis java

Terminal should now display "openjdk version "1.8.0_251"" or a higher version. But it must be Java 1.8!
It should also be installed in /usr/bin/java.

You need to select an Operating System above to show the Launcher selection.
2. Choose your Launcher:
Note: MultiMC requires Qt5 to be installed on linux. If you don't have it, you may have to install the following packages, depending on distribution:
  • Arch: qt5-base
  • OpenSuse: libqt5-qtbase
  • CentOS/Fedora/RHEL: qt5-qtbase
  • Ubuntu/Debian: qt5-default
  • 1. Download MultiMC for your operating system and start it. It is available for Windows, Linux and Mac OS.

  • 2. Select the Java edition you have installed. Version: jre1.8.0_251 or newer.

  • 3. Then go to "Add instance" in the upper left corner of MultiMC:

  • 4. Click on "Import from zip" in the window that opens. On the right is a line of text. There you enter the following URL and click on OK:

  • 5. MultiMC will now install the modpack for you. This can take a while and there may be times that MultiMC does not give any feedback. This is normal and MultiMC is still working in the background. Just be patient.

  • 6. When MultiMC has finished downloading and installing, you can play by double-clicking the AnnoCraft 1602 logo!

  • Download Technic Launcher.

  • Click on "Modpacks" at the top of the launcher.

  • Search for "AnnoCraft 1602" in the upper left corner and click on "Install".

  • Make sure you allocate at least 4GB or more system memory to Minecraft! To do that, click on "Launcher Options" in the top right. There should now be a Tab called "Java Settings". There you find a Drop-Down-List namend "Memory". Change this to 4GB or more.

Why do you hate yourself so much?
